TWO TRUE STORIES ABOUT RACISM1) I'm sure many of you watched the recent taping of the Oprah Winfrey and the branded name; Tommy Hilfiger.
Show where her guest was Tommy Hilfiger.
On the show, she asked him if
the statements about race he was accused of saying were true.
Statements like...
'If I'd known African-Americans, Hispanics, Jewish
and Asians would buy my clothes, I WOULD NOT have made them so nice. I wish these people would *NOT* buy my clothes, as they are made for upper class white people'
His answer to Oprah was a simple 'YES'.
Where after she immediately asked him to leave her show.
My suggestion?
Don't buy your next shirt or perfume from Tommy Hilfiger.
Let's give him what he asked for. Let's not buy his clothes, let's put
Him in a financial state where he himself will not be able to afford the
ridiculous prices he puts on his clothes. BOYCOTT..
(But.. LOL! my dad just bought a perfume from this brand for me,
didn't know Tommy H's that racist! )
Let's find out if Non-whites really play such a small part in
the world. Stop buying any range of their (Tommy H etc)
product, perfume, cosmetics, clothes, bags, etc.,
2) Scene took place on a British Airways flight between Johannesburg and London .
A White woman, about 50 years old, was seated next to a black man.
Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air Hostess..
'Madam, what is the matter,' the hostess asked.
'You obviously do not see it then?' she responded.
'You placed me next to a black man.
I do not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group.
Give me an alternative seat.' (so racist! f*** her! )
'Be calm please,' the hostess replied.
'Almost all the places on this Flight is taken.
'I will go to see if another place is available.'
The Hostess went away and then came back a few minutes later..
'Madam, Just as I thought,
there are no other available seats in the economy class.
I spoke to the captain and he informed me that there is a seat in the business class..
All the same, we still have one place in the first class.'
Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued:
'It is not Usual for our company to permit someone
from the economy class to sit in the first class.
However, given the circumstances,
the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make
someone sit next to someone so disgusting.
She turned to the black guy, and said,
'Therefore, Sir, if you would like to,
please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in first class.'
At that moment, the other passengers who were shocked
by what they had just witnessed stood up and applauded.
well anyway, spoke about racism.
i was kinda racist last time
i still remember when i was in secondary school
there's a malay that was so frigging noisy in class (everyday -.-)
and one day i shouted at him 'SHUT UP LA MALAY'
from that day on, i felt so bad.
but guess what?
HE'S NOW MY BESTEST FRIEND IN THIS WORLD!
we can talk to each other about whatever shyt
he tells me his problem, i told him mine too
and that friend of mine is FAIZAL !!! :D
although we are in different school,
as usual, he still contact me and asked me out
(cool friend right? this is what i called F-R-I-E-N-D)
i love him to every bit and pieces (friend la lol)
and theres something that im not gonna miss,
i think i'm hell damn lucky! :D
why? Because...
1) i have a great parents, who's always there for me
and bought me things that i never asked for
for example, like my baggie and wallet and all
but now dad was kinda annoyed by me
cause i've been pleasing him for me to have an evo ex
(which is sooo impossible *sad*
cause i do not have a license yet! im only 17!!!)
2) i have a super duper sweet boyfriend,
who's always tolerating my attitude
and yeah, same, bought me things that i never asked for
and always treat me like a queen without fail
he NEVER, i swear, NEVER treat me bad before
for the 1 whole year, he have been treating me so good
i love him & he love me too (: no snatching ok? my dear people.
3) i have a group of frigging understanding friends in my school
they are;
CLARISSA! YANPING! WEITING! ISTIFAR! NANHUI! SIHAN!
and??? i don't think i missed any. hell loads THANKS to them
CLARISSA is my first friend in school, my first impression of her was
'WOAHHHH! AHLIAN!' but she kept smiling at me
and i thought to myself 'aiya, think too much, she's not that harmful though'
and slowly, nanhui, hayden, sihan, istifar and kenneth made friend with us
half way through the course, yanping and weiting joined in
at first i thought they were from china =XXX `so sorry girls
cause they came in with some china girls
slowly we are friends, they are easy going though
LOVE LOVE LOVE my clique ;D
4) my secondary school friends
FAIZAL, JOEL, HSUEHTING & FENGJIE
faizal and joel , i love them the most
they have been with me through thick and thin
since primary school.
hsuehting and fengjie is those;
'got-problem-you-can-find-them-and-they'll-hear-you-talk' kind
super love them too
5) friends from express class
too many to be named but i'll try to name them
they are WEIQIN, SOONLING, XINYI, MADELEINE, KRISTEN,
ABIGALE, YILING, SUEN, and and??? help me name them.. too many
this group was super fun to hang out with
and they never fail to ask you out! ILOVETHEMLA!
6) last but not least, HWEEPING & SHERRY!!
the three of us can be super crazy
we can laugh loudly when we were together
we have known each other for around 10 years?
like WOAHHHH duh~ muack muack muack to you girls ;D
i know my post today abit boring
scarly you guys thought 'aiya, everyday also boring!'

i sometime also need to be expressive towards
those people who are important to me de mah right?
you guys should blog something like this soon too ok?
the more expressive you are, the better it is.
